From Book Knowledge to Real Wisdom

I read all the postpartum books. I devoured every piece of advice I could find during my first pregnancy. But when our first son was born healthy and strong in July of 2020, I realized something important: books about postpartum can prepare your mind, but they can't prepare you for the reality.

Even after reading books on postpartum recovery, postpartum depression books, and guides for new mothers, I still struggled with sleep deprivation, information overload, and advice that wasn't practical for my situation.

The differences in my postpartum experience with my sons taught me that preparation needs to be more than knowledge—it needs to be practical, accessible, and adaptable.

"This was my third postpartum, yet this guide was such a gift! Postpartum can feel overwhelming, but this guide helped me feel more prepared. I especially loved the food prep section! Hope did an amazing job at making this guide simple, easy to follow, and incredibly helpful (and beautiful!)."

Hope’s Story (The Author)

Our first son was born healthy and strong in July of 2020. And nothing prepared me for motherhood. No one could have said enough to prepare me for what it's like being needed 24/7 by our little bundle of joy. I was a brand new mom in the postpartum season way back in 2020 and it was anything but easy. My husband and I had no idea what sleep deprivation was like. I had no idea what a strong latch was in breastfeeding. I had no idea that baby wearing was an absolute must to stay connected to my son while also being able to do basic tasks. I had no idea how to nourish my body everyday while prioritizing rest so I could heal well. I had no idea how to communicate my needs to my husband.

And I had no idea how uniquely precious and sacred the newborn stage is...and how fast the time goes by.

Friend, the differences in my postpartum experience with my sons is what ignited a passion within me to create this postpartum book. I believe 100% that it is possible to have a restful and peaceful 4th trimester and much of this comes from understanding how to plan and prepare. I learned through many hardships how to embrace this period of time that is so sacred and fleeting. Postpartum is messy and beautiful! And that is perfectly okay.

This E-book is my heart on paper to you, mama, giving you everything I have learned so that you, too, can have a peaceful and restful postpartum (whether it's your first or sixth time).
