Meet Hope, the Homeschool Mom & Ballet Teacher Behind Little Ballerina

Hope Noble is a classically trained ballet dancer and teacher with over two decades of experience, a wife, and a homeschool mom to three boys. She started ballet at nine years old and knows firsthand that ballet is so much more than pretty positions – it’s an art form your daughter can use to express herself and every emotion she carries.

She organized this homeschool ballet curriculum by sections so you can move at whatever pace fits your homeschool rhythm – one section a week, one page an afternoon, or all of it in a rainy-day stretch. There’s no schedule to fall behind on. Never taken a ballet class yourself? That’s completely fine. Every term comes with a plain-English definition, and Hope notes where a quick YouTube search will show you the step.

“We absolutely love this ballet curriculum! My 6 and 7 year old daughters looked through it with me and were instantly SO excited to get started. They keep asking when I’m going to print it so they can begin learning! I love how engaging and approachable it is for young dancers, and it makes learning ballet feel fun and exciting. We can’t wait to start this journey together!”

Brianna

Homeschool Mom of Two Little Ballerinas

“When looking for a homeschool curriculum to cover Physical Education, Art, History and Science all rolled into one, that I can participate in as a grandma, I found this curriculum for young girls who are interested in ballet. It’s every little girl’s dream to be a ballerina. The best part: I can spend time with my granddaughter doing some of the pages, while also enjoying the thrill of watching her dance around the living room.”

Why Choose Little Ballerina?

Most homeschool ballet resources are either a screen your daughter watches alone or an outside class that costs a fortune and eats your afternoons. Neither one gives you what you really want: a beautiful, hands-on unit you can do with her.

Little Ballerina is different. It's a complete homeschool ballet curriculum that covers physical education, art, history and science in one printable workbook – written by a classically trained ballet teacher and homeschool mom. Print it, open it at the table, and start learning together today.

What's Inside the 28-Page Ballet Workbook

Section One: The History of Ballet

Where ballet began, how it traveled from Italy to France, the story behind the word ballare, and a “what was the Renaissance?” explanation written for young learners – plus hands-on projects like cooking a meal from Italy or France.

Section Two: Positions & Movements

Question prompts to get her talking about how dance makes her feel, illustrated coloring pages for first through sixth position, and cut-out vocabulary cards for eleven real ballet terms – relevé, plié, tendu, arabesque and more.

Section Three: Just For Fun

Design-your-own tutu pages featuring both a romantic tutu and a classical tutu, so she learns the difference while she colors. Beautiful full-page ballerina illustrations are woven throughout the workbook.

Section Four: Practice & Connection

Watch a classical ballet together, then use the conversation prompts to talk about what she saw. Learn the anatomy of a pointe shoe with a labeled diagram and choreograph a dance together to a song she picks.

28 pages of ballet history, positions, vocabulary and coloring – for less than the cost of a single dance class.
